1. There’s “hypothetical risk” & “real risk”.
2. KerryGold’s current butter wrapping may indeed contain harmful elements, posing a “hypothetical risk” of harm to humans.
3. But in what amounts?
4. And what is the threshold amount that poses a “real risk” to consumers?
5. And by what degree of transmissible contact to this food item?
6. And under what temperature conditions: cold or warm?
7. What about the wrapping of other similar food products?
8. Most processed food products are contained within some kind of wrapping medium.
9. What is the “real risk” of harm to one’s health under normal circumstances of storage & use?
10. Water will kill you if you ingest too much in a short period of time.

I’m a organic chemist, I live in Germany & eat Kerrygold when I can’t get enough butter from local farmers. I will be testing Kerrygold vs other butters I buy at the store here vs local raw butter for toxins.

Will continue to eat Kerrygold when I can find it. Probably all butters contain the same problematic ingredients. I speculate that Kerrygold has enemies among competitors who instigated this lawsuit. I live in NY and was wondering why it wasn’t available at Wegmans. Eventually they put up a sign that said something like, “Kerrygold is making changes to its packaging and will be back on the shelves in mid-February.” Now it’s in plastic tubs. We’ve been going through multiple packages of Kerrygold per week for years. My 8 year old has been eating it on his waffles every morning.

I love Kerrygold butter and have consumed it for years with NO ill effects and will continue to do so...I think this is one of the many ways to stop us enjoying natural foods in favour of corn fed crap butter and man made margarine spreads. PS. I am disabled I don't do strenous exercise therefore rarely sweat. However I do not consume sugar or many starchy carbs which I would say are far more dangerous than 'Forever' chemicals which you state are not 'Forever' .

How depressing, I'm almost 76 and turned to Kerry Gold a year ago per my daughter. Thought I was doing better by choosing Kerry. Everywhere you turn when you try to eat better you find out there is really money in or very little clean food. We have so polluted our earth. Pretty soon it won't support life. Thanks for your videos, I enjoy them. We are definitely living in the last days that the Bible speaks of as critical times hard to deal with. The earth to support life is slowly being destroyed where it is going to get so bad that GOD will have to step in or no man will survive. At that time GOD will step in and bring to ruin those ruining the earth according to Revelation. And restore the earth to a Paradise where there will be nothing toxic and the food will abound with nutrients.

a good idea might be to take the butter out of the package and wrap it in paper, any chemicals will only be on the outer part of the butter that touches the packaging.

I emailed Kerry Gold a few weeks about this. This was their response to me:

Finlandia butter is superior to Kerrygold, harder to find though. The best butter I had is local raw butter, it is much more orange than store bought kind, but have to buy from farm market and such.

One time I ordered a lamb shawarma and ofcourse it come wrapped in aluminum foil, I accidentally ate a piece of the foil, made me sad inside.

I have never encountered Kerry Gold's butter touching foil. The foil is always lined with paper, and many other butters are packaged that way as well. Be more concerned with the amount of animal hormones and toxins IN the fat than what it's wrapped in on the outside.

Curious about all the plastic in our clothes, especially sportswear. It’s all essentially made of polyester or other oil based materials and we are wearing these items all the time and while working out and sweating. Curious if those materials contain forever chemicals.

Here in Wisconsin they also sell it in non foil packaging. It comes in lbs quarters individually packaged like all the other butters on the shelves. The foil is no good agreed.

I have consumed over 1500, 8oz Kerry Gold Butters with ten years of doing a Keto diet . I never noticed any poisoning from their packaging ? Obviously the label should clarify any chemicals in its packaging that may be harmful.

The problem is that Kerry Gold may be changing their ingredients from Cream to Milk to skim Milk ?

So what is the best Heavy Fat Butter that you can Purchase in California as a better alternative? Thanks Siim, Tom
