The impact of the coronavirus outbreak in China is being felt around the world.
The first death from the illness outside China has been confirmed in the Philippines. A 44-year-old man from Wuhan, where the virus was first reported, died in a hospital in Manila.
The virus is now responsible for the death of at least 305 people.
More than 14,000 people are confirmed to have the illness.
More countries are rushing to fly their citizens out of Wuhan, and restricting entry to those who have recently been there.
Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Beijing.

Wondering are they building hospital or the prisons.. lots of curiosity in my mind. Once you get in can you come out? I have an experience once at the airport in Shenzhen, polices there were very scary . It was like being in the war very rude and treated travellers badly . I was there for flight transfer the first time and was last time. I will never put my feet in China land again. People are scary! That’s my personal opinion!

if they will tell that both of them died, it would cause huge human panic .. and imagine the foreign guy found lying on the street, hospitals, policemen, doesnt know what to do but to reject the patient.. no one came to rescue him.. coz they are aware how contagious and deadly it is.. they are only acting in front of cameras that they are monitoring the situation, but still they are not informing med people on how to respond during such cases.. they are not even sure what exactly happening to that foreign guy to reject him..

It's not a hospital. It's a quarantine facility.

A man just went to 3 of the main hospitals and the first one had little to no traffic. The second one was "slightly active". Once again people got sick, people panicked, and then it burns itself out rapidly.

people are saying that even though they had fevers that they took fever reducing medications so that they could leave and not be stopped at airport checkpoints because the healthcare system was being over run and they knew that they could not get proper Healthcare they needed if their fever was being caused by the Coronavirus.

Pakistan abandoned their students at Wuhan they told them yesterday they will not send a plane to evacuate them, the Chinese govt is making sure they have food and are good to them, they are not infected but said they are fighting anxiety and depression really bad. This is not just a China problem and its nothing like the flu people have been seen falling face first dead to the ground, some of the infected are screaming like they ate crazy. PRAYERS FOR EVERYONE THIS IS EVERYONE'S PROBLEM AND MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL

I felt bad for the Chinese people because even though we Pilipino's wanted to help them but we cannot do anything about it because even us are also scared if the virus will also spread in our country. Admit it or not, Philippines is still not fully-equipped when it comes to medical facilities. We are not capable enough to developed a vaccine for this virus. That's why the only thing we can do is to implement the travel ban. On behalf of my country, I wanted to apologize to chinese people for closing our doors but the only thing we can do is to pray that hopefully this pandemic will end soon.

They only announced that the guy was with the person (the first person in the Philippines confirmed to have Ncov) a day after he died. 🥴 and our government only banned flights on the day of the announcement. Which is a little too late coz during Chinese New Year many have fled here in the Philippines.
