I really want to pick up on Davinci Resolve one day, and your video's are always concise and energetic: a true motivator.
Recently, I took another route and created a stinger animation using "Remotion" (also free): a bit more technical, using HTML (React actually).
It allows you to create superb animatons and lets you export webm video's with the necessary alpha channel.

Probably a steep learning curve (you would need more than 10 minutes), but worth the effort, and I wanted to share it as my 2 cents.

You can export transparency from Resolve in the first place, it's under the advanced settings dropdown un the deliver page.

I am trying to make a transition rn, I will put an edit on how it went, so far I am having problems with the solid colors

edit 0.5: I wasn't in the edit mod lol, fixed that issue
edit 1: it doesn't let me change the frameset, it locked on 24
edit 2: solid colors don't show up, nor does it let me have a color wheel, only premade.
edit 3: to fix the problem above, you need to click on inspection (top right corner)
edit 4: everything else went smoothly!

Anyone else finding Davinci Resolve won't allow them to select the transition, grab and drag to the other end of the timeline? I can move the transition between colour solids, but I can't seem to drag/move it and duplicate.
Sorry for the beginner question that probably has a very obvious solution.

I always thoughtt davinci was apple only! Mine blown by that lol
