I found your channel a couple years ago and watched your videos to keep me inspired as I follow the pathway to become a clinical therapist. Congratulations on completing your masters with a 4.0 gpa while working a FULL TIME JOB!!! That alone gives me so much hope as I continue on my career path.

I'm so glad you took the time to elaborate on this experience. I am currently completing my practicum and internship series, and I'm having similar challenges at Capella. I pray I don't have to jump through hoops and fight to prove any of the hours I have obtained. My expected completion date is June 2024, but the worst-case scenario is September 2024, contingent on my progress toward my 600 clinical hours. Congratulations, girl!!!

Glad I saw this. My cousin's co-worker had very similar issues while pursuing her doctorate degree. I am taking thi s as a sign to not enroll there. Thanks for the update

Congratulations!!! I have been watching your videos for a few months now. you have helped me more than you know lol. I am about to finish my Bachelors Degree with Capella I'm in my capstone right now. I am Looking at the same Masters program you just completed. do you mind if I ask what happened for Capella to put you on academic probation? I watched your other video explaining the issues with your internship I definitely want to avoid that lol. Any additional information would be great! I want to be sure I'm protecting my self, I also had issues with Capella IE support, guidance, dealing with rude advisors etc.

Congrats sweetheart. You worked hard for this and you completed it. I wouldn’t recommend them for a colonoscopy without anesthesia. I have heard horrible stories about them. So happy you stuck it out.

Damn...thanks for the information. Much needed. I was prepping myself to start the next semester there. 2 questions: Do they offer financial aide? And 2: Would it be better doing it online?

From the video you made it seems cappella is hustling. If you think it's best to go to another online school can you make a recommendation?? I only have 25. Credits from my previous school. When capella transferred my credits it seems they gave me more credits. From 25 to 37. Is going to this school a waste of time? I want to complete my degree as fast as possible.

it was nightmare for me during the internship phase. I never got the full experience or hands on training I needed and that's a long story in and of itself. BUT i graduated in June 2023 and I can't lie, I haven't found anything well paying with my degree and because of Capella's accreditation it's gonna be a minute before I'll get licensed. I slick don't even wanna do therapy anymore. I hope things are much better for you tho sis!!!

Listen!!! By God's Grace, I have 4 more months till I am Done with my Masters!!.... But.... they tried me too! They had multiple name changes to the counseling program, and then they added new classes just because of the name changes. Then they tried to tell me that I had to REDO my Residency #2 because they changed the way it is graded (now graded as A-B-C). Thank God I had my transcript because what did I see when I checked (Freaking A!).

I began preparing for my practicum in July and sure enough! No communication about any program changes until I called to speak with my advisor.... here they come talking about how now, you have to select a concentration because it is no longer called general clinical mental health counseling. If I decide to do substance counseling, I'd need to take 4 more classes. they sure did try to register me for those classes.


It's much more than this but.... 4 more months! so help them God!!
