'British techno trio Binary Finary plays final show at Trak prior to sale'

Saturday night's techno treat at Melbourne's Trak bar went off.

Matt Darey played old skool beats to the small but energetic crowd before he handed over the decks to Brits Binary Finary at midnight where they stepped up the hardcore trance music.

Binary Finary was celebrating its 20 year anniversary at Trak which could the venue's last international show as the owners have allegedly sold up to a Greek consortium.

The boys from Britain were up against it with number one DJ Solomun playing secret show across town at a disused Melbourne warehouse on the edge of the docks.

Trak's future is clouded by way of hits new owners with try new group's plans for the venue up in the air.

The 3 level venue won't include cigar bar Jackson's.

Owners Michael Gudinski, Frank Stivala and nightclub king Jamie Nasser won't get their financial investment back, but they will know they've created something special with the biggest acts in the world having played inside the iconic club
