How to Change Your Avatar and Your Profile Picture on Your PS5! (EASY) | SCG 2021

In today's video I'll be showing you how to change your PS5 profile picture and your avatar! On the PS5 there are two types of profile icon, profile picture and avatar. Your profile picture is visible to only you and your close friends. Because it's private, your profile picture can be any image you want. Your avatar on the other hand is visible to all other players online. Your avatar can only be one of the select icons provided by Sony. I'll be showing you how to change both icons in today's video. I do find it weird that you can reveal your real name you set for anyone that searches you to see but can’t have anyone that isn’t a close friend, see our profile picture we set. You’d think it’d be an addition or so

edit: I’ve made a second account and it made it appear there but I don’t want it there starting over with everything on ps5 or any console is ANNOYING and im not adding all my friends and spending all the money that I spent on this game again.

To the people having problems, is your birth of date set to where you’d be considered a minor? If so, you being a minor of classified as a minor may disable the option.
