The Emma Thompson interview at the extinction rebellion demo in London was priceless! It basically summed up the absolute shame faced hypocrisy. The "let them eat economy class" elites.

I'm centre right, but even though many of them are lefty I really appreciate the objective journalism that spiked are doing

These MP's are playing a very dangerous game, if they succeed in this then democracy is finished in this country.

Do we seriously need to reform the laws of treason?

The criticism of an image of a woman with a pram is, in my view, an insult to many women. I've had a career, and I've been a mother, and I know which of the two was the hardest, the most demanding, the most rewarding and, from a social perspective, the most important - and it wasn't my career.

What I didn't hear is that the coup originally took place in 1972. People need to face up to this fact. The only reason we are where we are is despite Parliament not because of it. Whats going on now as I'm sick of saying is a continuation of that coup initiated in 1972. What also has to be understood is the attempt to undermine the power of the British people within its own political process was two fold...it also included immigration.

I don't mind if we concentrate on Brexit for the next few months to get it done but after that we must immediately attack immigration policy and REVERSE it. If even this criminal Parliament, however reluctantly, can admit that OUR consent was required before it handed control over who governed us then it absolutely follows that the same degree of consent must be given before it is DILUTED too. That's what immigration does.

To deny this takes mental gymnastics of Olympian proportions. We have millions of people here and they are all here illegally. This is beyond dispute. Its time we as a country faced facts.

I'm pro-immigration, I say this in all honesty, those I've met and worked with are very decent people indeed and its vital for any nation. But citizenship isn't a likeability contest. They are all here illegally and we must remove them. To not do so sets a terrible precedent for those criminals in Parliament. They cannot get away with being allowed to construct their own electorate. I want them to leave as friends (as we did with the colonies) and re-apply if they so wishg but under T&C's and volumes WE consent to. Its entirely workable.

When the dust settles we really must do something about the political party idea. Its a very bad one. It takes away all accountability between the constituent and the MP sent to Parliament. The MP is totally beholden to the party (which these days is very much under foreign control in the way they are funded... and no no public campaign financing isn't the answer if it funds parties to exist rather than independent MPs serving their constituency.

Finally we must prosecute these MP's and senior civil servants, its a vital necessity. If we let them do what they are doing without dire consequences we are storing up massive trouble for the future. Prison and/or unlimited fines must be the minimum....the job would be then to find an uncorrupted, uncompromised judiciary to try them. Not an easy task either.

TO BE OR NOT TO is the question
Are we a free people
Or are we EU serfs

We lend our politicians our power while they are in office.

If they wish to give away the power we entrust in our MPs, they must first ask our permission.

Finally we have been asked if we want to be in the EU.

We, as a people said NO.

Parliament against the people will not end well.

The other Greta Thunburg analogy is the hysterical Children's Crusade. The children of course died long before they got to the Holy Land, while adults looked on and applauded.

If Greta is really the eco-messiah, I'd be more convinced if she walked across the Atlantic, instead of sailing.

Thank goodness for these podcasts and other YouTube videos. You won't get diversity of opinion from the mainstream broadcasters. The ruling class is completely at odds with the electorate

That ugov poll of MP's and then citizens is gold. The right answer to that Q is, of course, obvious. That MP's got the A so wrong is shocking but .. hardly surprising.

Once again showing that, in aggregate, the people of a land virtually always answer a Q and understand things better than any small group of centralized elite or intelligentsia. That "group \ hive intelligence" is usually superior to individual. How small groups of elites of any type operating in centralized milieu's end up creating echo chambers for their beliefs that prevent them from seeing reality.
