I must point out, sir, your S2 tutorials have been the most helpful. Also by the way, will there be a few examples on hypothesis testing (the final and hardest chapter).

Unfortunately at my the very expensive private school my mom paid for me to go to, my s2 teacher doesn't (and can't) actually 'teach'. By that I mean, there is no on the board doing examples, there is no explaining key concepts before students do questions, there is only, the book which we have to read ourselves, and the desk for her, the teacher to sit and mark year 7 maths work, yeah, she loves them that much. This process is repeated throughout our whole A-level career, yeah, you see now, I wasn't being mean when I said she cannot teach, I was just being honest, completely honest.

I wish I had you as my teacher, and I just wanna say thank you, you are a hero!

Sir, at 11:16, they've asked us to find 'the probability that the robot will break down in the following 8 hour period'. Since the rv. X is independent of previous occurrences (and their respective probabilities), the word "following" does not make a difference. Thus, aren't they simply asking us to find the probability that it will break down in an 8 hour period? Since the prob. that it will break down = 1 - prob. that it will NOT break down, don't we have to calculate 1 - P(X=0) instead of re writing our answer for P(X = 2) (cos in this 8 hour period, it could have broken down any no. of times, not necessarily 2 - thus requiring us to calculate 1 - P(X=0) ?

Thank you (:
