I bought the Max last week. Having trouble with the front right portion of the build plate. I can't seem to get the material to adhere correctly on teh first layer. Other corners print fine. Using the red PLA supplied. Tried different fills, speeds, nozzle temperture etc... Still no love. adding a raft fixes it so I am starting to suspect its a warped plate. Anyway, thanks for the video.

Maybe you have some advice. I hooked up my Flash Forge Creator Max and I was able to print the bendable snake perfectly through Wi-Fi. I used PLA and printed at 200° c for the nozzle and 50° c on the bed. It looked great. I then printed a little bunny for my daughter which mostly looked great but had some rough parts on the face. Next I tried to print a spool holder to hang on the back. About halfway through the infills started looking like strings and not hexagons and the layers were really thin. I canceled the print and tried it with different settings multiple different ways and it seems to get worse. So then I tried to print the same snake again using the exact same numbers and it also failed in the same way as the spool holder. All of the infill looks like string and the Layers are thin and stringy. I'm not sure what has happened. I would appreciate any feedback you can give!

I entered the printer familly a few months ago & if you want a serious channel for tips Thomas Salander is your man on Youtube ! Check Yeggi for searching STL, this website is like Google for makers

My best settings for props for PLA are 0.4 Nozzle/0.16mm/205° filament temp/60 bed temp/30% max gyroid infill/70% speed fan/supports if needed on bed only at 80° overhang and if you can slow down your print to 80% on the printer try it.
You should check flow rate too, the basic math for this is flow rate = nozzle size + layerheight (- 0.05°)
Found these tips on prop forums and it turned out really good ; most props now doesnt need any sanding before filler primer so you keep a lot of details on FDM printer

Btw following your for months now, and I have to thank you for decent content on this channel !
cheers from BE

Nice video! Question: didn’t you find the left nozzle lower than the right one when you first did the bed leveling? Thank you! I also use a glass bed and yes the glue stick is a life safer! A must
Looking forward to see the next one!
Cheers and stay safe
