In this session we'll learn how to add constraints like DEFAULT, UNIQUE, NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY, FOREIGN KEY and CHECK, while creating tables or by altering existing tables. Microsoft SQL server syntax is discussed.

In unique kay, why you put John two times, because you said that on unique kay we don't put same value.

Hi, you said we can have only one primary key can be present in the table . How can you define to two columns now as primary key ? Then in what way it is going to differs from Unique key ?

Hi Masti Supreme, I got an error message when using the ALTER TABLE MyFriends (see below); can you explain what I need to do, had no previous errors? Using SQL Server 2022 Msg 1781, Level 16, State 1, Line 51
Column already has a DEFAULT bound to it.
Msg 1750, Level 16, State 0, Line 51
Could not create constraint or index. See previous errors.
