IMPORTANT NOTE: 🗒️
When speaking with Super7 I used an email unrelated to this channel and there was ZERO connection to this channel. To them, I was simply a customer.

I bet it's been asked but did you try heating up the hand in hot water before putting the bow in? I have to do that with figures quite often, so often I consider it part of collecting.

At least Rudy tried… 🤙🏾
He doesn’t make ‘em; just deals with the fall out of others involved in the process dropping the ball.

Thank you Rudy! The world could not be right without you ;)

If you heat it until it’s pliable, it’ll work. Then once it cools down it’ll be in the proper place.

just wondering, how long did it take for a response from Rudy? was asked to send pictures of damage to him in a response email ( my Hyacinth Hippo figure broke right after opening, attempted to switch heads & the neck post came right off the base of the figure :/ ), I sent 'em over & am still waiting for a reply

Not trying to send my snark towards you, but rather at super7, and especially Rudy. I had several defective figures in the past, and they refuse to send me a replacement figure in the package. I literally waited months for them to get more skeletor figures, because the leg joints shattered. What I received was a skeletor literally in a zip lock baggie, thrown in a box. I even emailed Brian directly. Not even he knew what the fuck was going on. After lots of back and forth, it turns out that they refuse to send you a replacement in a box, if you've already opened it. Their customer service is shit. I could also tell you about my last wave of Thundercats, complete with missing bengali, but I will spare you. I've also had to ALWAYS send the defective figure back first. I don't know how you got such a different reaction. I don't make a fuss and I don't bitch them out. This kinda makes me hate them even more.

Can you warm up the hand in hot water and then pop it on the bow?

Did you purposely wear the same shirt from the original review or was that a coincidence?

I totally feel your frustration. I've been a Super7 collector for a while now and with around 14 figures (TMNT and Thundercats) I've experienced some of the same things. I thought some of the figures are amazing (Monkian and Slithe) while others look great, but suffer from loose joints or poor execution of accessories (looking at you Tigra and Ace Duck). In my experience, I'm batting about 75% good versus 25% poor. I know there's some with much larger Super7 collections and I'd be interested in what their experiences are. It's tough when they are the only source of some of the licenses I absolutely love. But I think @Jamie Vaughn is 100% correct that this is the collector market these days. It shouldn't be, but it is. NECA, Hasbro, Mattel are all guilty of 'phoning it in' with some figures while killing it with others. It's just really a bummer that as a collector, we have to play 'plastic russian roulette' and wonder if the next figure we open will delight or disappoint.

Love your reviews my dude and we love you over at the Wagon

This is why I’ve stopped unboxing figures from brands like Super7, NECA, Mafex, etc. I’ve decided I like them in the box where I’m unaware of the issues. But that’s cool that they send you a whole new figure if you’re unsatisfied

maybe using hot water to warm up the hand will help with holding the bow?

Hey man, I'm sorry the replacement didn't work out ( I'd suggest a hairdryer but that's alot of work for fit a bow & arrow!). Still awesome Roody was willing to help you out and hook you up! Also I would love a Sherif figure with Nutsy/ Trigger! Btw if you ever wanna get rid of your Robin Hood, id love to give him a home! ❤

With regards to just getting a replacement hand, it's better you didn't ask for that. I was missing hands from one of mine and I was told that they didn't have replacement parts readily available but I would be added to their replacements list — If they ran into an open box return they could pull from, they would have the hands shipped to me. That was over a year ago. Good thing I didn't hold my breath 😅

Did you try soaking the hand in hot water, the plastic becomes plyable and you should be able to open the hands enough to have him hold the bow

Have you tried some heat on the hands? Also Kiki’s loose joint stuff works miracle, shouldn’t have to for what you pay for these things but, heat and Kiki’s tend to always fix my figure issues

Another great entertaining vid! Rudy is amazing. Helped me out multiple times, which doesn't sound good as I think the whole shopping experience should be error-free. My issue with Super7 are the 3D renders are never updated towards the final release. Mandora was just horrible. So not signing up for pre-orders until someone reviews the final product.
