I was diving in south florida, and in an place with little current.. there was one so well camouflaged in the rocks. Its peck fin looked like a pretty Shell. Almost grabbed it!! Thankfully i did Not

A friend saw one on the coast of San Diego. She scuba dives and was really surprised that they were that far north. Birds and all creatures don’t know borders so never assume. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen and heard of creatures who were not supposed to be where they are.

There’s a show called Kings of pain, it’s two guys that specialize in venomous creatures that go n find all different types of venomous creatures n allow each other to hold them while it bites or stings the other guy. They do it to create of pain scale of three different categories to try n extend the research that was done by another guy a few decades ago. The stone fish was one of about thirty different things they got bit or stung by n as painful as it was it didn’t appear to give symptoms close to death unless you’re prob a person without a strong immune system
