We watch this from the comfort of home, but these people have dedicated their lives and even risked them, to bring this stuff to the world. Hats off to these men and women for their hard work and sacrifices that go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do and will do. ...VERY DIFFICULT JOB... Please continue to discover! read all of the other people's replies below - many jumped to conclusions, and said some really assumptive and stupid things. I was just praising some hard working people, I didn't feel that I had to have written a 10 page essay to make sure that they had a FULL comprehension of ALL of my thoughts - message to them: you are dolts]

That's some incredible work, when a timelapse pays off its just so incredible because we move through time in a constant and to see the effects of the passage of time condensed before our eyes is like a glimpse into another world.

8:30 this is such a beautiful view... dark blue water, white ice, green seafloor with starfish scattered around like flowers
Looks like the sky, cloud and grass on land.

I’m incredibly amazed with her passion to be able to tell this story for 10 minutes without much “umm..” i feel like I’m diving together just by listening to her. She retells the story amazingly

It's so weird to see sped up film of starfish.. in real time they just, do nothing.. but then you see them moving around like actual normal creatures.

This remains one of my favorite nature documentary clips of all time. The first time I saw it, I was home sick for the day…and in my weakened state, it affected me even more than it might’ve otherwise. It’s just such a perfect glimpse into a natural world that’s completely obscured by our senses and our perception of time. Every once in a while, this comes to mind and I rewatch it.

How much better can it get? Some of the best underwater shots ever. Bravo.

The way the starfish run as it gets closer to them and yet still get caught up in the carnage was fascinating.

No other media in the planet can touch the quality of a BBC Documentary...
