You know guys, you can now record this or download the video and slow it down to make out the letters as its just a beat, not an actual message.-.-.-

That's a cool little paddle/keyer/oscillator unit. Is it homebrew? I've never seen one like it.

Morse code is pretty cool but have you ever looked up POW code? The idea is you take the alphabet where c and k are interchangeable so you have 25 letters and set them in a 5x5 grid. Tap 1-5 time indicate how far on the left you will indicate then a slight pause followed by 1-5 taps down to indicate how far down the grid. So A would be 1 tape pause 1 tap and Z would be 5 taps pause 5 taps. It’s a lot more work to do letters but it was developed during the Vietnam war to my knowledge as a way for POWs to communicate without having to speak since if they were caught trying to communicate they would get beaten.

This makes me wonder if anyone has ever used the telegraph in this way in the past as a joke.

I could make out B in front and B at the end. And a few Es, Ts, in there too. I guess it really is a beat.

I mean it makes sense, humans are VERY good when things are rhythmic. I mean all the war chants across history are a prime example of this. Would make sense if morse code is just a very strange rap battle
