Has Gareth spent too long abroad, clearly he was in the short clip in this vid, if he thought the BBC would provide a fair and balanced view via his piece then he definitely has been away too long. Get a grip Gareth!

Chris Packham is not fit for anything but causing farmers trouble. The first time you find a Lamb that has had it's eyes pecked out by crows and realise you can't do anything about it because of laws Chris Packham and his gang of champagne ecologists had pushed through. I look out at lambing fields that are covered in crows. The farmers lam count this year was under 800. That's down from 1100. Normal people would stop and think about the impact on our food supply of that.

"There is evidence that wild deer can be a reservoir of TB and can transmit TB both to other deer, and to cattle." Badger populations are doing well maybe too well considering not only the threat of TB but also the impact on other critters like Hedgehogs but we also need to recognise the threat of deer carrying TB.

The BBC have their own agenda in anything so try to set your own meetings the BBC has recently a poor record recently, I did however hear an article on Friday on BBC 4 radio which gave details of both parties very interesting, something do need to be done so best of luck.

Just a couple of points for the club regarding the stories reported on, if I may? The moor set afire near 'Uddersfield, is actually Meltham moor as the th sound not MelTham moor. And re, Yours truly it was not actually Petrol he harkened to I believe? And the Shooter who had his rifles taken by the Police was quite similar toy own experience! Where I was visited by an ARMED response squad and shaken down for owning a Crossbow and having my rifles removed from me but with no reference as to what was taken. Roll forward several months and I receive back 7 from at least 9 rifles at the property! But a thoroughly resounding rendition of an Apology by HALIFAXS FINEST! We brought back all the rifles we took away!! Which is ok? Only they never told me what they had taken away!! So MNOT a so much RESOUNDING truthful statement?? But as nobody at Fieldsports was available for any help?? And as far as I am aware I AM Fieldsports member last I looked? Or is that ONLY members who CAN actually walk and shoot and don't own a crossbow?
Be interested to hear comments on this question. 😂.
