I really love this RAIN advice....this has given me absolute clarity....I am 9 months clean of opiate dependence and this technique is helping out greatly in other areas of my life as I truly thank you 🙏 ♥️❄️-Wiinter

Thanks Dr. Jud for your great contribution. I have a question: I know that awareness & curiosity is of great help to overcome the craving-addiction cycle, however what if compelling thoughts come in? Isn't goal setting & motivation also a big part to deliberately decide to confront oneself with these uncomfortable feelings? If one doesn't see it's worth it, most people won't face the discomfort, since they see no point in doing so.

You said "ride the craving to shore" & in cases when that just won't come, what do u advise then? Opiate addiction is a lot different than being "addicted" to food.
