We did a day trip from Athens to Aegina in January there is an excellent temple—only still standing double arches from classic person—didn’t need to preplan at all just take subway to piraeus 45-minute boat ride. Had temple to ourselves played hide and seek

We had an amazing time using your tips in Athens and Santorini. Started seeing things close on the island and the locals all telling us they were leaving October 31. I'll be staying the first sunday of the month, do you think it's worth to save 10 euros and visit the Acropolis on the free sunday? my guess is that "everyone" will take advantage of that and so they will crowd the site like high season in (also, since you don't book a ticket, how does it work? you just show up at the gate and they let you in no matter the queue?)
