Glad to see that Aliens Infestation was on the list. Seriously one of the greatest side scroller games to ever come out for the DS. Sadly, hardly anyone I know has even heard of this game.

kirby amazing mirror is a metroidvania game and my favorite kirby game just because of it. now make another one with local and wifi multiplayer that plays like return to dreamland on the 3ds and i'll be happy.

Wrong. Super Metroid refined this whole thing, "Metroidvania games" are just Super Metroid with EXP added to it. I dont consider added grinding to be "a refinement"

I haven't played Aliens Infestation but I have played Alien 3 on the Mega Drive, many years ago. I can't remember if it was Metroidvania or not, but I really loved it at the time. And yet people love to constantly moan about there being no good Alien game until Isolation. Those two were arguably better. Isolation is sort of a Metroidvania too, come to think of it.

Whatever! Hey I'm glad they put Tomba! in there. I'm a big fan of it, and I was just overwrought when I found out Whoopee Camp had gone bankrupt. Hell, I don't even know who owns the rights to the Tomba franchise anymore. MonkeyPaw, maybe? If so, come on with that Tomba! 3 you guys! I'd pay full price for that, it'd be a beautiful thing.
