Keep a look out for these full-body opaque wrappers on plastic containers. Most recycling facilities use optical lasers to identify and sort plastic containers, but optical lasers can’t see through opaque labels like this to sort them properly.

While we hope brands will stop using these labels altogether (hello @Califia ) until they do, you can help ensure these bottles get recycled by removing the label before placing them in the recycle bin.

🔥Hot Tip 🔥: If you look for it, some plastic containers with opaque labels have a perforated zipper to make them easier to remove.
