Before it was stormy, it was stunning, and runners got to enjoy the incredible alpine playground, happy trails and social buzz of #UltraTrailKosciuskzo - what a way to #RunTheHigh

To all our runners still pushing on into the night, we salute your courage, your effort and your achievement, and we can’t wait to see you at the finish line!

The courage it takes just to stand on any of our start lines is something that not many humans on this earth will ever have. The hours of dedication and training to be able to just get to the start line are worthy of a medal, let alone putting it all together, when the odds and the elements are against you, to cross that finish line.

Whatever your journey had in store this week - whether it was all blue skies and plain sailing, or a stormy passage with hurdles to overcome, we hope you will leave the Snowy Mountains with your heart full of memories, stunning views, unforgettable experiences and a new connection to land, to others, and to yourself.

Incredible vid, thank you, this captures much of the experience and shows too the variation… the heat, for me, up dead horse in the afternoon (I ran the 50) compared with the rain/storm for the 100km/miler! Congrats all!
