So many people get that "Money is the root of all evil" quote wrong for lack of a few words. That's not actually the full quote. The quote comes from 1 Timothy 6:10 and says "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

It's the love of money thats the root of all evil. Not the money itself.
