‘Curse of identity politics’: Democrats ‘stuck’ with Kamala Harris

Political journalist John Fund warns removing Vice President Kamala Harris from her role would create “tremendous disruption” within the Democrat Party.

Low approval ratings for President Joe Biden have caused a stir within the Democrat Party over who could replace him in the upcoming election.

Ms Harris is the first black, female vice president in US history and would be next in line to replace Joe Biden as president.

Mr Fund warns the “curse of identity politics” is ripping apart the Democratic Party.

“If you live by the identity politics sword, you are going to be punished by the identity politics sword,” he told Sky News host James Morrow.

As a democrat, one of the biggest reasons I refuse to vote for Biden is that if he dies mid term - and he surely could - we would all end up with that bumbling fool Kamala Harris as our President. Of the lesser evils, I would rather have Trump in the White House.
