@Prestonboy13 - I have a (non-imaginary) friend who actually does turn water into wine. Well, when I say "water into wine"... it does go through an intermediate stage called "grapes".

heat can cause chemical reactions to occur at a faster rate. It's possible that the body heat around the fingers caused the molecules up against the glass to react slightly before the rest of the compound.

In this case, the rate of the reaction was increased by heat, but the reaction itself was not caused by heat. If left by itself on the table, the reaction would have proceeded just the same.

The swrling won't 'cause' any reactions either, it just speeds the reactions up.
