Revell 1968 1:32 Mitsubishi Zero-Sen H-265

Pining for my youth, I broke out an old Revell kit that I built as a kid 53 years ago. Though the models never survived into my adulthood I have maintained a collection of all the instructions of the kits I built. This is the build of a kit I got in a bag from the estate of a friend who passed.

i built this kit in nineteen sixty eight when i was fifteen. the kit had come out in nineteen sixty seven, along with the messerschmitt one o nine, the spitfire and the p forty. i loved those kits.

I built this kit when it first came out and was very happy with the results. I know that it doesn't compare with the Hasegawa kit but the Hasegawa kit was much more expensive. I purchased another kit of this model used a few years ago and plan to enjoy the experience of building it again. It will hopefully be a better result with my greater experience in building and painting. Thank you for a trip down memory lane.

Nice, its about time you are building something... Not that I have room to talk. HAHA. I look forward to seeing more of this build. i think IJN aircraft are so under represented in the modeling community.
