Developing a culture of innovation is literally the hardest trick for any established organization.

In my opinion, to start the process, it should be everyone’s job within an organization to experiment - whether you are the CEO or the summer co-op student.

The experiments can be base hits (incremental) or homeruns (transformational). The experiments can be individually or within teams. They can be technology-driven or technology-free.

But, once you add up all the experiments across the organization, you are building the blueprint of your innovation portfolio.
