Wanted to clarify that I have a typo in the video. At the 8:30 timestamp, I say aloud "tablespoon" for the both the Worcestershire sauce and apple cider vinegar but the on-screen text says "tsp." TABLESPOON is the correct amount. Sorry for any confusion!

(Shoutout to eagle-eyed subscriber and fellow YouTuber "watchautumnketo" for pointing this out!) 😀

If you aren't picky between onion powder and onions, remember onion powder is concentrated so you will use less. You can use 1 1/2 Tsp of onion powder(2.9)carbs to replace that 1/2 cup chopped onions(8.9) carbs and save 6g's of carbs on a two cp yield which either doubles the serving size or drops a single serving size to 1 carb! The differential with garlic only nets .5 carb savings to the yield so no bother there, lol! Love your channel Brother! You show us a great many easily put together recipes and since a great many of us keto/lowcarbers meal prep a week at a time that is a big, big help!

Made a half recipe of this BBQ sauce because I only had 1/2 bottle of SF ketchup (but had everything else). OMG so good! First official task for the sauce was to rescue some baked chicken thighs (bone-in) which were good quality but with lackluster flavor. BANG that chicken is now great eating!! Thanks again for another HFLC original, Wes.

Zevia is too blessed to have you promoting their products! I had never heard of them because I never drank diet colas and rarely a regular one. Now I proclaim the benefits of Zevia to anyone that will listen! Thank you so much for your videos and for your dedication. I would watch you even if I weren't interested in eating kept.

Holy smoke! This is sooo good! I used dijon mustard and regular espresso because that's what I had on hand and it really turned out well! Tangy, sweet and as good or better than store bought full sugar sauces.

You are such a fantastic teacher. I saw Melissa McCarthy gnawing on a rib and said to myself I need a low carb BBQ sauce and looked down and there you were!👏🏼But, you have so much knowledge and youre hilarious. I wish you were on the food network.😄👍🏼

Hi. My name is Tamera and I am Toms wife. I love your videos. I just want to say on the ingredients to that ketchup. Since I can't see the bottle except the label and i wont say the brand; I believe you cannot use it for a keto bbq sauce because one of the hidden ingredients on the list is Maltodextrin. Now I do realize your low carb and not necessarily Keto. I just want to clarify this for those who may be Keto and looking for an alternative. I pulled up a similar bottle on another website with a similar label and read the ingredients. For those who do not know, Maltodextrin is an artificial sweetener which can according to Dr. Berg kick you out of ketosis and raise your insulin level. So anyone who is looking for a ketchup and has a concern watch those ingredients on the bottles. They say no sugar but they do have it. Its hard to avoid. Main base for ketchup is tomato sauce or puree and tomato paste. I make both ketchup and bbq sauce because i have not found a more convenient Keto version of each. If anyone has please let me know. I also apologive for any typos.

I just made this today on a whim as a condiment for a bacon covered meatloaf I threw together. I didn't have the natural ketchup so I used the Hienz no sugar added instead. It was probably sweeter than it's supposed to be, but I like my bbq sauce sweet so that was fine. This is a really good low carb bbq sauce. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Hey Wes this looks Delish! I can't wait to try it. I like to make BBQ sauce too. I like to use fire roasted tomatoes and low carb root beer as the base. it is tasty!

Loved this recipe. I'm from KC and have a favorite old mom and pop BBQ resturant there. Rosedale! They put "allspice" and talk about a flavor explosion in your Try it next time. Most people will not be able to figure out that spice...some will never believe it.

The first time I had cola BBQ sauce was 1973 in Bowling Green, KY. It was catsup and a small bottle of Coke. We didn't have spices (we were poor college students)! I can't wait to try your version. With the chunks of onion, it reminds me of my Mom's barbecue sauce (she added onions and bell pepper). Thanks for another great low carb recipe!

My daughter and I just made this, while watching, and didn’t hear the, that’s spicy” until AFTER we added the 1full Tablespoon of chipotle powder . . . The flavor is absolutely wonderful, but it’s far too spicy for my daughter. I think this recipe as it is would be perfect for a BBQ hot wings sauce. I also think some will like it as it is, but most will think it’s too spicy.
LOVE your videos! My daughter and I push pause at random times during your videos because your face is so expressive and when we random pause you, it is hilarious what you look like sometimes. So entertaining! Thanks so much for all the effort you put into these vid’s!
