But first, the entrepreneur must convince a shark to invest the full amount they are asking for.

This Emmy Award-winning show has been the launching pad for some of the greatest products ever sold. The Sharks, Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec (along with other celebrity guest sharks) have made deals with - or passed on - some amazing brands: The Squatty Potty, Simply Fit Board, Bombas Socks, The Ring Doorbell, Scrub Daddy and The Original Comfy – to name just a few.

Shark Tank celebrates entrepreneurs.

They only offered because he was a young respectable kid. If someone 40 year old came in with this product they would rip him apart and no offer

Mark Cuban is good with kids. He saw that this kid was getting nervous and he asked a funny question to liven up the situation hahaha

Richard Branson, the only Man who can snatch a deal from Mark Cuban because he’s also a Billionaire 😀

So cut a board in 1/2… I’ll give him

Branson never answered the boys question directly! He never said one thing about strategy, he just had some emotional story about seeing himself in the boy! Marc Cuban actually seemed genuinely interested in the product, it was a much better deal. The extra $5, 000 is totally not worth it!

Sir Richard made a fortune trying to sell fun. He was probably the right partner for this young man.

Based on how sour Mark response to him, I bet this was after they splashed water at each other

I have to say, amoung all sharks, Mark always the best one dealing with people, encouraging, advising, even helping entrepreneurs explaining their pitches

Guys do not forget Richard is a billionaire. He has similar skillset to Mark at the very least, there's nothing lacking from his deal.

No matter who he chose, the Kid won at the end. Good job! 👏

They should take Cuban's deal. I didn't get the hesitation. I can't believe the kid's mother let him choose Branson.

The kid has no idea what the heck he’s saying 😂

You know what’s crazy? When I was in 5th or 6th grade, we had a program called Invention Convention where 7-8 of us all came up with something new. I created the “Bend Board” (terrible name, I know). It was basically this. Hindsight, right? lol

Richard Branson is an athlete and an adventurer, and his entrepreneurism has been WAY more creative than Mark Cuban's. I think both Sharks had an emotional interest in the kid rather than a business one - he would have been equally well served by either of them, although I'm not sure about the actual business prospects of his product.
