I saw the Dylan 1966 world tour, I was 16. The film and its atmosphere look and feel accurate. He aged Perth in Western Australia with the Hawks, later the Band. Such an historical night. First half to please the folk following, second half for the new electric music. We loved it all. I had just bought Highway 61. They were all stoned. Dylan slowly slud off his stool playing Ballad of a Thin Man. We were witnessing music being changed.

Give a beer to the art directors, production designers, etc. I was there then and NYC truly did look like that, the "magic city all covered and grime". Froze our rumps off in the winter of '62 and it was me delivering the newspapers. Since the Cuban Missile Crisis didn't blow up the world we all felt okay even if frosted with numbed feet. That time feels like now for some reason...
