I for one absolutely love that they turned them into marine apex predators, not the sweet Ariel type (The little mermaid still is oe of my fav nostalgia Disneys though ;)). These ARE predators and I love the choice the creators made to use that <3

I love how they reached out to actors actresses we've never seen before, they didn't pick you know the A-List actors actresses the Hollywood actors actresses. They picked out people we didn't know or what movies they've been in except Ben "alex roe" he's been in 5th wave, only movie that was good

What I love is the way they depicted the "fish" tail. In the old days, when mermaid sightings were most prevelant, they didn't know that a lot of sea mammals weren't fish. I love that she has a mamilian tail, but also has fish aspects, and that that really plays along with the mermaid idea itself

Finally! A tv show that depicts sirens or 'mermaids' as they are! Predators! I've never seen a serie or movie for that matter that shows them as I always imagine in my head, and now there finally is! The first two episodes did not disappoint at all ^^
