Pro tip, you can actually score pieces and add your slip so that you get a smoother look instead of the rough draft you had before. And also a spray bottle is really handy for when your pieces are too dry to work with. Clay is all about using the tools you have.

Trusting the process really is part of sculpting. I am a sculptor and oh my lord I have wanted to complete start over on projects so many times because they aren’t looking very good. But then boom 10 minutes later it’s my vision.

i’m not trying to be a hater i swear but just know that the crayola air dry does not hold up well over time. it starts to crumble (a sealer might prevent this though im not sure). your creations are so beautiful they deserve to last forever!

if you want to use slip i recomend using water and any vineger and clay

If you want to carve out holes you should try a paperclip its bottom when the other side is folded up works just as well as the fancy tool whatever its called
