Marketa Irglova - If You Want Me - (Official Video)

In 2006 a few friends got together and made a movie on the streets of Dublin in January. A film by John Carney, starring Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová - Once. Film Stills Photography by David Cleary, video by Markéta Irglová.

David Cleary is a Dublin based photographer and a dear friend.
He captured many wonderful moments pre & post Once, some of which are included in this video.
David’s photographs remain a true gift to all of us who lived those moments in time, offering a precious opportunity to revisit them and feel just how much they still resonate within our hearts, even to this day.

Those of you who have held Once close to your heart throughout the years will surely appreciate this journey as well. Thank you for watching.

I think there needs to be a sequel. The two of them touring on their own musical careers and they happened to bump into each other and neither one of their relationships had worked out. It can be called "Twice" or "Once Again".

It did not feel like I am watching a movie, it felt like a real life. I have seen the movie many times. Every time it is on TV, I have to watch it. As I said, it feeds the soul. My favourite song for the rest of my life I'm sure!
Reminds me of my lovely wife who lives far away from me now. I hope someday I'll get her back and she'd be in my arms forever again. My soul crushed into pieces when I saw her for the last time.
