It is the best way to get started and then if you have to test something more serious you can use a sieve. (Remember Sieves Kill Creativity!)

Thanks for the tip on the hand blender!
In a student setting almost nobody cleans those screens well and I must take off my distance glasses to do close work . It's very discouraging to see bits of extra floating in my test glazes when i put my glasses back on.... argh. Now I can avoid that.

I was just adding the last ingredient, grolleg. So you just make up the recipe and add water.

Hi. John. I´m not a ceramics pro and have some questions for you. Have you mixed the dry ingredients with the base? Why you add dry Grolleg to the wet mix? thanks
