It is extremely worrying to me that some Christians say that atheists must have nothing to live for and no morals. That's simply not true, but more worryingly that tells me that the person thinks that the only way we have meaning and morality is because of the afterlife.
That just sounds evil and selfish to me.

Nice to hear a theist pull up a fellow theist on evolution. Don't have concerns though, It is one of the best supported scientific theories that exists - there is SO much solid, checkable, tested research - most people have no idea of the scale of the evidence, honestly, is overwhelming! And the great thing is that you theists can still think god started it all off if you want too because he haven't found the real reason... YET! ❤

As an atheist, I say THANKS, SEAN. Now can you say something public about Koukl, JW Wallace, and especially Turek and how the speak out misrepresenting atheists and atheism? Randal Rauser’s book, “Is the Atheist My Neighbor?” Is helpful here.

I sympathize with what that guy was saying, although I'd say it slightly differently. I don't hate atheists as people, but I do hate their position (given it is demonstrably false) and the behavior they engage in to try to rationalize it. I have no issue with being friends with an atheist, so long as the person is simply uninformed rather than actively avoiding the truth deliberately.
Because if someone is actively being dishonest about something that important, then it entails they'll behave in a similar manner about other things as well. I would not be able to trust that person enough for a meaningful friendship.
But, if someone is simply in a state of not understanding why God exists then I have no problem with that.

The issue is so many atheists are aware of how difficult it can be to differentiate between those two. So, they'll present themselves as though they just don't understand and want proof, when in reality they're already presupposing they'll reject whatever proof they're given because they simply don't WANT God to exist.

The bitter atheist can be a difficult to maintain friends with just like the Bible-thumping believer. Sometimes it's better to set boundaries around conversations if the topic causes too much strife in order to maintain the friendship. Be Kind!

Being an atheist made me appreciate both people and my life more because I truly believe I get one shot at life and then I’m gone forever.

Religion gives you false promises after death, and our temporary life on earth now gets reduced to a waiting room of sorts.

Growing up I was taught we came from monkeys, rather, we evolved from monkeys. But we were never er taught that we all have a common ancestor. When I looked up Darwinian evolution, his tree depicts that all of life has one common ancestor.

Ty for saying that bc I know most of my Christian friends cringe bc one of my dearest friends is athiest ("dont even break bread with them") but I love my friend. Besides, what if one day Holy Spirit says/does something through me that opens her eyes & heart? We can trust our 3rce Holy God's timing.

With God all things are possible. So God could make all human kind out of one person, and a woman out of that person's rib.
Science is a gift, but the giver is God and so it is at least foolish, ignorant and ungrateful not to thank God for that gift, and expect that supreme loving parent who treasures their child to joyfully but wisely show us people what that gift can do.

Listen, The biggest problem is the perceptions that all atheist are trying wound up against those who believe in god. Believing in god is your own belief as you saying there is god and me believing there is no god is my own belief. We hold different opinion like matters in politics. It's as simple as that. And why do i not believe in god? It makes me responsible of own actions. There is no one to save me when i mess up. And i don't go around telling people that you're wrong and all that. I personally visit temples, church with my friends and love hearing their stories about there god. I just love every moment in my life and I can confidently say that I'm not depressed. If anything, I believe in people.

It would help if Sean clarified what His Views on Evolution. What are His Concerns about it.
I agree about what he says, though as far as Loving those who different view. You can lead them to the truth through Christ.
We are all Sinners and we all come from an Original State of Unbelief, so someone had to be friendly toward us in order for us to receive the Gospel Message, but they are not going to receive it from someone who treats them as an enemy. Love people to Jesus.🙏😊❤️

Not Man-Key, or Monkeyman, Godzilla or King Kong but Soley MAN! In HIS OWN IMAGE! Is God also part Monkey? Sorry Sean, you are dead wrong on this one! I like what you said about Sinners though on your previous clip. But you need to retract that statement about Man and Monkeys Sharing a Common Ancestry. That is 100% false and God did not say that! That is a False Assumption of Man and is not based upon Gods Revelation of the Creation account. Read the book of Genesis. Your statement there is false. Hope you will consider that.
