Broken Ceiling Fan Light Chain QUICK FIX

Replacing a light kit pull chain in most ceiling fans is easy, but on some models like this Hunter Discovery the chain is stuck in the light assembly, making it harder to replace. This video shows how you can sometimes trick the broken switch.

NOTE: Do not mess with the wires inside the fan, especially while power is on, unless you are very comfortable with working with electricity. I only did this for demonstration purposes.

Replacement chains for ceiling fans can be bought online, or at Home Depot, Lowes, and other hardware stores.

Just spray some wd40 up there. It'll work just fine.
