Is this the best toilet Solution for your VW Campervan. Is this the best toilet solution for your VW campervan. Hi guys! We are going to Scotland and doing a modified route of the NC 500. In our self build campervan we dont have a toilet but with many campsites not having their facilities open we need a portable toilet. We go to go outdoors to see what we can do but find not only can we not get one but they wont fit on our self build campervan. Watch to the end to find out what our best solution for having a toilet in our campervan is!

Hi Tom and Brooke,
Go Outdoors are on the verge of going bust, hence no stock.
We have a T5 and we carry a toilet tent, easy to erect and dismantle. This accommodates the toilet and is useful for storing other bits and bobs that just get in the way. Campsite pitches are always big enough to erect a toilet tent.

Oh my, one minute it was about toilets and then waterproof pants! Has he got a “water” problem, I ask myself, but no, it was waterproof trousers!🤣 it made me giggle, so thanks for that. Btw I’m glad we aren’t the only ones whose lives are dictated by dogs wanting to go their own way!

I brought a Thetford Porta potti 335 last month which fits under my rib bed. Brilliant little toilet.

in the last week of July, we drove clockwise the nc 500 as well and also with a diy campervan shortwheelbase t5, and yes it was a hassle to empty out prota potti, we did mostly wild camping. My wife and i like to do this certainly ones more and take more time than just a week from Newcastle and back to Newcastle to IJmuiden

Hi, loving ya videos, I'm going to buy a van next year if my plans go through. I see ya looking for a toilet. Just an idea. I currently have a work van T6, working in London I have been caught short couple times. What I use is a collapsible bucket with a black bag inside it and toilet wipes.Not sure if you can buy larger size buckets that collapse. But it's an idea, try it. Just played the the rest of ya video, I see ya got something. Lol I got that bucket from Wilco.

I’m in SW Scotland, and been considering the same issue, my van set up is identical to yours only a T4. One idea I’ve been looking at is utility/cooking/toilet tent that can be set up quickly next to van with awning. PS if you are coming up get the best midgie net money can buy. Also, jungle formula or Avon Skin so Soft (blue bottle) works great.

Hi Tom, nothing to do with toilets but are your seats just seat covers or are have the been re-done by an upholsterer. Love the vids keep them coming. 😎
