How to scan to computer from HP Officejet Pro 8600

Just follow these steps to scan and open a pdf using an (all in one scanner printer fax) Hp officejet pro 8600 on a windows 8.1 Dell computer

The problem, I imagine, most people are having who find this video, is that nobody is disputing how to push buttons. More than likely it's a complicated problem of correctly setting up a shared folder and being able to access it from another terminal on the network, but for whatever reason, the multi doesn't want to save to that location. What we're probably wondering is how do you set this up in the first place?
