Over 90 dead and more than 5 lakh affected as Brahmaputra floods Assam

Hundreds of families have been left homeless, five lakh people affected and more than 90 people dead as the Brahmaputra river floods the Assam basin. Even as the flood situation improves slightly, the hardships remain the same. Many people are still living on high roads and embankments.
