One thing to keep in mind before buying a USB 3.0 drive is if your computer has USB 3.0 ports! You can tell by either the blue color inside the port or the "SS" marked right next to the port. The speed difference is HUGE and I don't have the time to wait around for a slow USB 2.0 to transfer my large files. Also, a USB drive is one of the best ways to back up your important files. You'll back up your files a lot more if they only take a couples minutes compared to a half hour or more.
