Try To Remember - The Temptations Reunion (1982) | Live in Cleveland, Ohio | A Temptin' Tribute to Paul Williams
Today I'm sharing with y'all a very touching and bittersweet moment of a very rare audio of the Temptations during the reunion tour!
The Tempts in 1982, as you hear it from Otis, they are performing in Cleveland, Ohio and they stop in the middle of the show to pay homage and tribute to a true Temptation...the late, but great...Paul Williams. The Temptations would sing "Try To Remember" with Eddie Kendricks being the lead vocalist and as he sings the song, you can hear the emotion in his voice, even though his voice wasn't the same, he still gave it his all for his beloved childhood friend and brother, Paul. You can feel the surreal attention in the audio...Paul may have not been there in physical form but he was there in spirit. Paul left this world on August 17th, 1973 at the young age of 34. This is a bittersweet moment for the fans and the Tempts. Paul was truly and surely loved and missed by many of us fans. He was such a talent gone way too soon...R.I.P. Paul Williams. Temptations Forever ❤️.
