Sini Sabotage - Kuori mua - Finnish & English lyrics

Like onions (and ogres), this song has many layers. Sini Sabotage became suddenly famous 10 years ago with her song "Levikset repee", and after that she was kind of treated as a one-hit-wonder. Many people had a very one-sided view of her. By this song she wants to tell the audience that there are more layers to her, and people in general, which she invites to peel and discover.

Btw, "Sini" is a way of saying "blue" in Finnish. It is a shortening of the proper word "sininen". Sini is used as a prefix. So the beginning of the 2nd verse (Sini sipuli) could mean either "Sini the onion" or "the blue onion" :P Maybe her name was an inspiration for the blue jumpsuit in the video.

The UMK translation of this song is quite literal, but my lyrics have some differences hoping to convey more literal translation of the lyrics.
