I had a dream a few nights ago that it was a triple album.
I waited in a line-up outside of the record store for hours and hours so I could buy it day one.
Bought it. Got back in my truck. Put the disc in and...
... I woke up. MAD.
The anger stayed with me for hours. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.

If it’s August, This will be the longest 3 months of my life. I just finally started taking the new album hype seriously after YEARS. Apparently I’m still a little too soon lol

What times we're in. Ten, fifteen, thirty, a hundred years ago, who saw us being where we are now on so many levels?
I sincerely hope that there's a new generation of people out there that will get their first exposure to Tool when they hear this new album. I hope that it does for them what Lateralus did for me when I was younger, looking for what I didn't know I was looking for until it found me. I hope it inspires a new wave of people to think, create, love, and to seek connection with something that is truly relevant, and to at least sort out what leads to real fulfillment and what does not.
The time of this album's nonexistence has almost come to an end. May it influence unity and help to bridge the ever-increasing precipice that's filled with all of our nitpicky, trivial, fake bullshit that we don't seem to ever realize we don't need until it's too late. Don't know about anyone else, but I am way ready for a soundtrack worthy of this new chapter that we'll all hopefully be starting soon.
