Placing sterilised items on a drying rack eliminates the sterilising process as the rack itself may have germs... Bottles can be closed with the water mist in them, that water is sterile.

Steps:
1. Wash bottles with soap and water (disassemble all parts 1st)
2. Place washed & rinsed parts into a pot.
3. Cover everything with water, making sure there are no air bubbles
4. Set pot on back burner of stove and bring water to boil for at least 5 minutes
5. Turn off stove, allow water to cool down
6. Remove items with clean tongs and place on either clean dish towel or paper towel face down to dry. Allow items to air dry DO NOT towel dry
7. Clean bottles after every feeding, sanitize once per day

see i always just bought new ones, But i'm wandering if boiling water causes more plastic to leech out? Something i never thought of before until watching this years later lol ; If you really want to sterilize them though id use Destilled water instead of tap water, as tap water has alot of bad stuff in it, especially when your boiling it.
