For a long time, I have been asking "What has happened to our nation"? There seems to be no empathy, compassion, caring for others.
This is such a major tragedy and when does it end? My prayers go out to this man's family and friends. This was unheard-of when I was growing up. We had respect. And, yes, we were concerned about the consequences.
My Mother brought her daughters up correctly. We had/have respect and compassion for others. We have a strong moral compass.
Our Mother became ill in a hospital with COVID after I had protected her throughout the pandemic. My sister and I also became ill with whatever variant is all the rage now. I got a call at exactly 6 a.m. this morning. The Mother who brought us up with the fear of God and who loved, guided, advised us throughout our lives, passed peacefully, Thank God, in her sleep in the wee hours. I only wish I had been there with her.
Parents, please start taking responsibility for your children. Some, if not most, seem to be completely out of control and human life means less and less to them. Please take heed.
Now, I have to call my sister. I loathe being bearer of this kind of news.

Parents were probably at work trying to make money to pay those punk kids' bills.. These kids are aware of what they are doing. They need to be treated as adults and dealt with as adults..
