Flat screen alone is a big win for me personally. Hated curved screen. And an addition to the a possible MagSafe compatible is just a bonus.

The OnePlus official shop here in Australia told me that I will be able to purchase the 1+ 13 in January. Really looking forward to ditching my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Curved glass is like folding displays. They look cool, but the trade-offs are not worth it. Flat glass, that you can put in a case with a slight lip to protect the screen from drops and just being put face down, is safer and more practical.

They eliminated almost every of OP12's weak points.
The only thing i wish they changed, was the main sensor - i would really prefer a bigger sensor. I'm not saying it has to be 1", but even something like the 1/1.28" sensor that is in Vivo X200 Pro, or that "Light Hunter" 1/1.31" sensor from Xiaomi 14.

There are so many flat screen phones. It's been nice having the OP phones for those of us who prefer the rounded displays. If you don't like the rounded display, then buy a Samsung. I guess many of us will have to SETTLE.

I just don't like the camera housing
Is it that hard to make a decent camera housing which also carries the brand identity?!

Wondering if this would be a good upgrade from my Pixel 6. I had it since launch and just got Android 15 which is the final major update so ill be on the market soon. That new Snapdragon SOC looks incredible but my fear is inferior photos as even my girlfriend with an iPhone 14 prefers my photos over hers when we are out and about.
