Christopher Dunn has an extensive background as a craftsman, starting his career as an indentured apprentice in his hometown of Manchester, England. Recruited by an aerospace manufacturing company, he immigrated to the United States in 1969.

Over the past 49 years, Chris has worked at every level of high-tech manufacturing from machinist, toolmaker, programmer, and operator of high-power industrial lasers, Project Engineer and Laser Operations Manager. For the past 16 years, he has served as Human Resource Director for a Midwest aerospace manufacturer.

Chris’s pyramid odyssey began in 1977 after he read Peter Tompkins’ book Secrets of the Great Pyramid. His immediate reaction after learning of the Great Pyramid’s precision and design characteristics was to consider that this edifice may have had an original purpose that differed from conventional opinion. After further research and study of source material on various theories, Chris concluded that it must have originally been built to provide a highly technical society with energy—in short, it was a very large machine. Discovering the purpose of this machine and documenting his case has taken the better part of twenty years of research and following the 1998 publication of Chris’s book, “The Giza Power Plant: Technologies of Ancient Egypt” which describes a holistic energy device that is harmonically coupled with the Earth and its inhabitants.

Chris has published over a dozen magazine articles, including the much quoted “Advanced Machining in Ancient Egypt” in Analog, August 1984, and has had his research referenced in over a dozen books on Egypt. In the United States, he has appeared on PAX Television, the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Lifetime Television and most recently on the History Channel in the Ancient Alien episode “The Evidence”.

Chris’s second book, entitled “Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt: Advanced Engineering in the Temples of the Pharaohs” was published by Inner Traditions/Bear & Company in June of 2010. In this work, Chris focuses on an important aspect of his research into the manufacturing capabilities of the ancient Egyptians and through his engineer’s eye and camera, reveals to his readers previously overlooked magisterial characteristics of Egyptian architectural and manufacturing wizardry.

At 23.21 there is a diagram showing that the floor of the King`s Chamber is free-floating, which is exactly the method used to construct the floors of modern professional recording studios to control vibration of drums etc. It appears the theory of the Pyramid being a giant musical instrument has plenty going for it. Great work. Well done once again Christopher Dunn.

I'm so grateful to Christopher Dunn for providing me and everyone, with the only solution that really fits and makes any kind of sense for the true purpose and function of the great pyramid. Always seemed so bizarre and unnecessary to me, that some ancient people would have gone to such incredible lengths, to build a giant tomb that was designed to simply be used just the once. His conclusions makes the reality of our past even more fascinating, leading us to the fact that there was obviously a people way before the dynastic periods, that were highly intelligent and technologically advanced. I only wish I had been taught this at school.

The Great Pyramid was a MASER. Specifically a passive hydrogen MASER as Chris Dunn theorized in his Giza power plant book. These types of MASER's are incredibly accurate atomic clocks that are used today onboard the Galileo Satellites for their navigation systems. I believe the pyramid complexes to be multifunctional structures, one important feature being the MASER which would act as a sort of interstellar lighthouse for space travellers with a vested interest in this solar system.

What if it was built to reinforce our magnetic field. Which at present is failing miserably. I absolutely agree with the internal ramp theory for how it was built and as access for maintenance.

I'll bet you can find some natural induced current mound somewhere near the source of the interior stone or somewhere similar. This engineered idea had to have a precursor which was initially discovered in nature. Skinwalker Ranch seems to be such a phenomena.

if traces of hydrochloric acid were found is because it was used to etch the stone.. soften it do be able to smash it more easily (at least the surface of it that was etched). Since not all stones are homogenous in material, some appear to have small puddles.. as if a small portion of acid made a small pool there and ate more stone that was softer/slightly different on that spot..

He's brilliant, just great but he's wrong about the Queens chambers Star Shafts being Batteries & Hydrogen being used too

I think the Star Shafts were filled with liquid mercury & the Mercury was made to violently spin with electricity. This violent rotation motion shook the entire Pyramid and caused...

-The activation of all of the Crystals in the Granite stone used in the Pyramid
-The vibration would cause the structure to play sound tones, adjust the speed and you can play different notes - so he's very correct about it being an instrument
-the spinning would cause a vortex around the Mercury where it would help ions be thrown upwards
-Electrified Water in cavern below was also made to spin
- Electric and Mercury produced energy when they rotated as well

Also the Queens chamber didn't produce Hydrogen in my opinion, it just isn't a logical choice to use for many reasons.

However it did have to have a powerful magnetic source near the walls & the Star Shafts, That's a certain to activate the Mercury
Also perhaps machinery to capture the collected Energy & convert it from AC to DC? Not sure

What happened to the equipment in the Grand Gallery? What good is a resonator to them? They created contacts to turn on a light? What evidence is there that they used power for anything? VCRs, washing machines? A big empty room with hard walls resonates acoustically? Of course it does. There is water erosion all over the upper chambers. How does that fit in with acoustics or power? Love your info on precision though.

The modern inhabitants of Egypt don’t bear any resemblance or relation to ancient Egyptians, it’s ludicrous to believe otherwise. And ancient Egyptians simply came across and claimed the construction of the pyramids as their own. They’re far older than what modern archaeologists attribute their building to. I think Chris Dunn does great work with his discussion on precision machining in relation to ancient works.It is obvious that the precision by far exceeds what is possible with just hand tooling. It is an area he is obviously expert in. 


Dunn and others often (rightly) say "if precision could be achieved using only the tools know in the record then let someone go out and do it". The same argument can be applied here: if it is possible then create a small pyramid which generates electricity in the way described. Demonstrate the principles.

I believe it was a resurrection machine that was capable of bringing the dead back to life. We have ways to resurrect clinically dead today using electricity to jump start the heart so maybe this was something similar.
