I know I'm late lol, i like that he brings in the Hebrew and at times brings up there were no capitals they had it where it was oral so it was written in their letter but had no vowels it was all one way. We capitalize it to distinguish LORD God but they didn't have a way to.

I have read your paper on Psalm 82 and John 10 where Jesus references Psalm 82. But my question is: How will these elohim die like men unless they become men? Or is the word "like" meant to denote death of a different sort? Like being thrown into the lake of fire.

Does that mean God was, at that moment when He said "you will die like men", already judging and condemning the elohim to eternal death for what they did to the Nations?

Is the theory that the elohim God was presiding over actually became human beings so far fetched? Am I missing something when God says "You will die like men?" How else can the gods die like men other than to be men?

So, from my limited studies (I'm by no means an expert), the history Judaism started out as "Elohim" being part of a pantheon of gods, but "Yahweh" was their tribal deity, and He sort of evolved into the supreme deity of all, and then became the Only deity. In the old testament, there were other gods, like Ba'al, that is now considered a demon.

Wow, . Worshipping MANY Gods isn't happening (4 Me).. I don't even want MANY Friends.. Too Much to deal with.. I can't. But much respect to the Poly's. I myself just don't know how or Why to have all those Gods in Worship. Interesting group of people tho to be able to do that.
