Sound Transit Eastside light rail project delayed

Sound Transit’s light rail extension project connecting Seattle to the Eastside is experiencing more delays.

Bellevue called and while they did acknowledge their light rail station isn't even open yet, they wanted me to let you all know that the escalators will be out of order for exactly all of the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile Sound Transit CEO Julie Timm took home a fat $375, 000 salary, leading an organization that is once again having to make revisions to projects that they can't seem to complete properly the first time around. Absolutely mind boggling to pay someone that much money, when the workers on these projects make far less and actually perform the necessary work.
