Fall of the Lich King Ending - Remastered vs Original comparison

Here is a comparison with the original cinematic made in 2008. While recreating it, our focus was aimed at the details, such as updating the lighting while still trying to maintain the same feeling as the original, among other things such as conveying the proper emotion in the facial expressions.

Here you can even see the grief and sadness in Terenas' eyes, as Arthas was dying and died.

My dumb ass was so used to post-Mists in game cinematics that I didn't grasp just how much had been improved the first time I watched the remaster. But damn, being able to appreciate it fully this is so impressive. Wonderful job!

Arthas' lip is quivering in the remaster before he begins to talk. That...hurts. That's a gut punch to the feels. He was scared and overwhelmed with guilt in those last moments. This was one of the most emotional moments in the history of the franchise, made infinitely better by this remaster.

As Wrath of the Lich King is my favorite expansion, so many memories and lore emotions. Whenever I hear this music it brings me back a decade, to my weekly raiding of ICC. You've done an amazing job, stepping into the shoes that Blizzard left behind when they were assimilated into Activision's ranks. Thank you for bringing a classic piece and making it timeless, very well done.

When comparing side by side, it really stood out to me just how STILL Bovar was in the old edition. There was so much more nuance to your updated version of him.

So out of all the remasters I've seen, this one's a winner.

Now I get why.
In Bolvar`s case (as a much simpler model than the others by obvious reasons) round eyes on him made him more childish than the original.

i still hold the original idea was arthus was the hero holding the spirits at bay, that why he asked was it over, he was happy to be dying

Love the lighting done on the helm. The use of shadows really makes it more ominous- almost like it were alive.
