How I use my Hobonichi Notebooks

In this weeks video I share with you my hobonichi "system". I like to stick to simple methods and this is how they fit into my life. I've been using hobonichi for about 5 years and this is how I have found them to be most effective for me. Hopefully this can help someone out there who is deciding on what or how they will use these beautiful notebooks.

My first hobonichi was actually the 5 year in A5 (because I wasn’t in the market for a planner since I’d be graduating and unused pages give me guilt, I didn’t want to risk getting a planner and not using it) but with the 5 year it was easy for me to do and I was able to justify the price (also since I ended up only filling up the left sections each day, I decided to extend my 5 year into a 10 year journal, and I was able to add 5 years to the right sided page and add a years at a glance where the pages are (with just the year number).

But now with September (I got stationery-excited) and foreseeing myself getting busy again, I’ve ordered a weeks and I’m really looking forward to it and hoping that it could potentially be the planner I repurchase for years to come

I also love using my fountain pens and different fountain pen inks on the TMR paper
