I am trying to do the "photo as a light source" thing and was hoping your tutorial from last year could help solving my issue, sadly I am stuck. (It helped partially by solving the brightness issue using the Mix and Light path shaders.)
My "screen" shines nicely but I also have a lamp in the scene. This lamp looks great, until I add the screen into my scene. When I add the screen (with the Emission material you also had in your tutorial) my lamp drops to a fraction of its original intensity. (The lamp/bulb material is just an Emission of strength=10000 plugged directly into Material Output's Surface socket.)
